MID CENTURY FLAT REFURBISHMENT
Complete refurbishment of a two bedroom flat within a 1950’s block, located in Gospel Oak, London. The brief included opening up the small galley kitchen and living room, improving the circulation space, with new kitchen, bathrooms and flooring, being sensitive to the mid century features throughout. Restoration included refurbishing the original parquet flooring, and re-laying parquet where it had been removed. The new bathroom tiling is a nod to the original yellow glass tiles used throughout the block when it was built in the 50’s (which had been removed by previous owners). New door handles, light switches, material choices and bespoke furniture, add unique character to the simple functional layout.
